We publish carrier details that are already public in the FMCSA census: USDOT number, docket numbers, legal and trade names, census add date, status, operation, classification, equipment and driver counts, safety rating, and the business address when the record is a company. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a searchable view of register data that is already public).

For a sole proprietor the page address, the title, and the heading use only the USDOT number. The street is left off. The record is not marked up as an Organization. Telephone numbers, email addresses, and officer names are not stored and not shown.

The directory is unofficial and does not replace FMCSA. It is not a consumer report under the FCRA and not for employment screening. Binding source: FMCSA Company Census File.

The operator is established in Germany. The site is hosted in the European Union. A visit creates ordinary server logs (IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier) where they are needed to run the site, keep it secure, and limit abuse. They are deleted or shortened after a short time. Search puts the query in the page address. The site does not create an account, does not require a login, and does not set cookies. A page view can be counted for our own analytics, without a cross-site profile.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents can ask us to delete the copy we hold, under the CCPA.
